„Between Worlds“ painting section is a window into another realm, between the world we know and the one we hope for, the one we fear. It is a battle of light and darkness. As with previous works, there is a convergence of what we were, what we are, and what we aspire to be. The energy we possess and emit in the form we have received. Between worlds, a struggle unfolds for the most precious thing we have—our soul. Vivid colors symbolize the passion for life and hope, while dark colors hold the shadows of all that lurks and restrains us in our fight. The human figures represent our home in this world, the form in which we arrived, while the animal parts symbolize our transformation and strength, our metamorphosis. The elements that appear reflect what we contend with and on which much of our existence in this life depends. This section of paintings represents the search, hope, and struggle that I, as an artist, recognize.
